My article in this issue is for Risen, which shouldn't surprise anyone since I've been vocally singing its praises for months. Enjoy the issue!

In This Issue: Call the Midwife, Joan of Arc, Saintly Queens, Moses, One Night With the King, Augustine, Lydia Seller of Purple, Perpetua, Thomas Aquinas, Risen, Medieval Gods

    1. I was thinking of you as I planned the new layout. I get bored with my blog design every month or so and just need a change. It didn't help that I've been watching nothing but McQueen's Wanted Dead or Alive for the past several days. ;)

Glad you enjoyed the article! I'm planning to read the issue this week. :)

    2. Wanted: Dead or Alive is one of the meatiest western shows! I really love it too. Isn't it remarkable how much story they can cram into a half-hour episode?

I tend to read the articles by people I know first, and then read the rest of the issue as I have time.

    3. I'd say it has some of the tightest writing for a western series of that era. I'm extremely impressed with it. Of course, it helps that it's Steve McQueen, but not even the best actor works well with poor scripts.

Funny. I always read the articles of stuff I'm familiar with first and then move on to the others. I'm so bad!
